...Sisters...

...Sisters...

Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of.

You know whatever you do, they'll always be there.

A sister is a little bit of childhood that you can never get rid of.

I will forever remember our times together and the games we played.

Popeyes, dress up, store, home movies, sleeping outside, and many more memories.

Good times and bad we have always stuck together.

I have learned so much being the youngest of 4 girls.

Trying my best to fill their shoes and make them proud.

How do people make it through life without a sister?

My three older sisters have been a huge part of who I have become as a woman.

Thank you so much girls. I love you with all my heart.

R*A*I*N

.........................................................

Where is God when you're going through a storm?

Maybe He's closer than you think.

...........................................................

It always rains.

Jesus speaks of living the fullness of life.

He speaks of 2 different people.

1 person builds on sand: rejection and alone.

1 person builds on rocks: security and support.

Sand will be destroyed; rock will stand.

Where will you build your house?

............................................................

What happens when a storm comes?

Jesus says, "when the rains come".

Not MIGHT, they DO!

It rains in our lives, a lot.

Small drops come

They get bigger and bigger

and then...... it pours.

Then we cry out, CRY out to God.

....................................................

God says, "you cry out and I hear".

God says, "when you cry, I am close to the broken hearted.

Admit you're scared, lost and confused".

..........................................................

Reality; all that we know is the storm.

Our father wants to carry us through the storm.

Cry out to him.

He knows the way through the storm.

What we think is our worst time in life God cherishes as intimate moments with him.

God says, "remember I carried you like a father carried his son"?

........................................................

May God wrap his arms around you and carry you through your storms.

Cry out to him and he listens.

God bless.

"The Tickle Bug"

Maisen: "Ashi, look what I have in my hand"

Me: Looking and seeing nothing I asked my 2 yr old niece, "what is it Mais?".

Maisen: Looking at me as if I was silly that I didn't already know said, "The Tickle Bug!".

Me: "ooooh, the tickle bug."

Mais: "Yup, and you can't let it go because it will fly and get me". So she picked up my hand and then opening her tightly closed tiny fist placed 'the tickle bug' in my hand and quickly squeezed it shut.

Me: Quickly figuring out the game I gave her a knowing look, then I 'accidently' let the tickle bug slip out of my hand. "OH NO Mais, he flew away"!

Mais: With huge eyes she said "WE BETTER FIND HIM BEFORE HE GETS ME!"

Me: The obvious thing to do would be to start tickling her. Instead we 'searched' for that darn bug everywhere. Then, of course, I found him hiding in her hair. But the darn bug saw me and crawled down her shirt so I tickled her for a while trying to catch it. When I finally did that little 2 yr olds imagination took me by surprise again and made me laugh until I cried.

Maisen: "Oh man, we better go put him in his cage before he gets me again". So she marched him up the stairs and literally opened a door to an imaginary cage and let the little critter in, to tickle her no more.

Aw the mind of a two year old. Don't you wish you could go back to that time in your life?! Thanks to my nieces and nephews I get to all the time. Love you guys!
